Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: Not specified Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: 2 years of critical care experience Job Description: - Work in a respiratory care department with 209 beds and 23 staff members. - Collaborate with a team including 1 manager and 4 therapists during the day shift and 3 therapists during the night shift. - Handle varying patient ratios depending on census and acuity. - Utilize equipment such as PB 980, 840, and Respironics V60. - Use Meditech EMR system. - Prefer candidates with post-op cardiovascular surgery experience. - Perform general respiratory floor therapy, including assessment-driven protocols in an 18-bed mixed ICU. - Demonstrate a team-oriented, self-motivated, and positive patient-centered attitude. - Required to cover all areas of the hospital. - Dress code: No specific scrub color or attire required. - Work every other weekend; no on-call requirement.
