Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12-hour days - 3x12s, every third weekend, every third holiday Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 1 year(s) of experience License: Must hold a valid state license for Respiratory Therapy Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, RRT or CRT Must-Have: Ability to work independently, make clinical judgments, and collaborate closely with physicians Job Description: - Provide respiratory therapy services across various patient populations, including neonatal to geriatrics. - Serve in diverse environments including Level II trauma, NICU, ICU, surgical, medical, cardiac units. - Cover a broad range of areas throughout the facility, namely Inpatient, Outpatient, ER, Rehab, and Sleep Lab. - Utilize RT equipment such as Airvo, PB 840 Vent, PB 980 Vent, Hamilton C1, MR1, and V-60 Respironics. - Participate in a 3-day, 12-hour unit/department-specific orientation. - Engage with a friendly multidisciplinary team, respected in the facility. - Adhere to the rotating schedule for weekends and holidays every third cycle. - Utilize the EPIC charting system for documentation purposes. - Maintain professionalism and adaptability in an acute care setting. Note: Candidates must not be associated full-time, part-time, or PRN with any related facilities.
