Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12H Day/Night Rotation - 7a-7p, 7p-7a, Every 3rd Weekend, Holidays Guaranteed Hours: 36 Hours Per Week Experience: Minimum 1 Year License: Valid Respiratory Therapy License Certifications: - Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Preferred: Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have: Ability to work independently and manage all respiratory duties as needed. Job Description: - Perform arterial blood gases (ABGs) and electrocardiograms (EKGs). - Handle all respiratory therapy duties across age ranges from neonates to adults. - Work in various settings, including Emergency Room, inpatient, and some outpatient services. - Operate respiratory equipment, including PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 BiPAP. - Be the sole respiratory therapist in-house during specific shifts. - Utilize the Meditech electronic medical records system. - Participate in a 1 to 2-week orientation based on experience. - Wear any color scrub, with black being the primary dress code. - Work rotation includes every 3rd weekend and holidays. - No self-scheduling or block scheduling allowed. - Facial hair policies apply for fit testing requirements.
