Please review the description below carefully to ensure that this position is the perfect match for you!What-s in it for YOU?+ Excellent Compensation Packages+ Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits Effective on Day 1+ 401k Package Effective Day 1+ Paid Time Off Program and Profit Sharing+ Associate Discounts and Community Giveback Programs+ College Tuition Savings Program+ Caring Family Culture Toward all Associates+ Certified as a FORTUNE Great Place to Work+ Opportunities to join resource groups that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion+ Family owned for 90+ yearsPosition Summary:This role is responsible for processing credits for returned merchandise, service credits, manufacturer coupons and rebates, as well as processing vendor claims.Do YOU Possess These Skills and Attributes?+ Skills needed: Ability to communicate effectively; strong customer service and telephone skills; strong organizational skills; ability to multi task, attention to detail; previous computer and inventory control experience preferred; ability to lift 50 lbs.Do These Responsibilities Interest YOU?+ Opens all packages returned by shipping companies with in a 24 hour period and those returned via showrooms within a 48 hour period.+ Enters returns authorization numbers into computer for merchandise received.+ Accurately researches merchandise if no paperwork is found with items, to locate item number and warranty information.+ Ensures quality standards-Tags stock merchandise and parts with correct item number and location, to be returned to stock.+ Thoroughly checks all items that are to be put back into stock including expiration dates, complete packaging, and appearance.+ Effectively and accurately monitors inventory transactions for expired and pick error returns.+ Monitors and communicates returns that do not conform to the norm i.e. large quantity+ Accurately completes credit for non-stock and defective merchandise, parts, and small equipment.+ Provides Inventory Control department with the correct inventory adjustments by completing daily adjustment form.+ Accurately processes transfers from Distribution Centers to correct inventory discrepancies.+ Accurately processes transfers from Equipment Coordinators to Distribution Center.+ Returns all no credit value items which are non-reusable, expired, or incomplete according to No Credit Value policy.+ Accurately processes credits for non stock special order items based on manufacturer return policies.+ Accurately researches all RGA items returned from the warehouse, on a daily basis, and use necessary steps to return it back to the warehouse for stocking.+ Assists in educating new associates from other departments as to the department-s function.+ Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the department and company.Do YOU Meet These Requirements?+ Education: HS diploma/GED+ Experience: At least one year in a warehousing positionWho We Are: It-s our Mission to Drive Dentistry ForwardBenco Dental, the largest privately owned, full-service dental distributor in the United States, has remained in the family since 1930-a family that now includes our more than 30,000 customers and over 1,400 associates in the 48 contiguous states.We provide more supply and equipment options than any other full-service distributor, an offering enhanced by a comprehensive suite of services, including office design, equipment repair, practice coaching, financing and project management, wealth management and dental-specific technology solutions.
