What You’ll Do
Design, implement, and monitor skill-acquisition and behavior-reduction programsResearch literature related to specific learners’ programsOversee the implementation of behavior-analytic programs by RBTs and caregiversConduct assessments related to the need for behavioral intervention (e.g., preference assessment, functional assessment, staff performance assessment, etc.)Be willing and able to supervise others seeking BCBA certification weeklyAnalyze and summarize results of assessments and graphs results as neededWrite 6-month progress reports to secure insurance fundingProvide staff and caregiver trainingFacilitate team meetings for a learner every other weekCreate goals for skill generalizationAssist with an assigned learner’s behavior deceleration plan as neededCreate or update the data collection systemBe available to answer questions from technicians working on learners’ casesAnswer emails and phone calls from caregiversFollow up with the caregivers to ensure the generalization of learner objectivesAdjust and update learners’ program sheets as skills meet the criteriaComplete and submit documentation in a timely matter to our billing agencyOversee the restricted hours of 1-2 apprentices
Education/Experience and Other Requirements
Master's degree in Applied Behavior AnalysisBCBA certification2 years of experience in the ABA field (preferred)Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
