Your core skills in critical care and acute care, along with your premium skills in school experience and case management, will enable you to assess and treat patients effectively. With relevant skills in standardized testing and outpatient care, you will contribute to improving communication and swallowing disorders. Possessing a Speech Language Pathology License and a Masters degree, along with certifications in CPR and Clinical Competence, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals in need.
- Experience working in acute care settings, such as hospitals or medical centers- Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, including physiology and anatomy of the speech mechanism- Familiarity with medical terminology related to speech and language disorders- Experience providing patient care in intensive care units (ICU) or critical care settings is a plus- Experience working with pediatric patients is highly desirable- Ability to effectively manage a caseload and prioritize patient needs
Qualifications:- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology- Current CPR certification
Skills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong interpersonal skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Pay: $55.00 - $61.00 per hour
