Financial Analyst
to join our Finance group. This position is designated as
hybrid (3 days week/in office)
and can be located in one of the following STV offices:
New York, NY, Philadelphia, PA, or Douglassville, PA.This position will be responsible for supporting the financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis processes. This role will provide critical financial insights and business intelligence to drive strategic decision-making and improve overall financial performance. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and develop comprehensive financial models.Key Responsibilities:Act as Finance Business Partner to the Area Manager(s) to provide oversight on all financial matters within the assigned Area(s). Understand all components and key drivers of financial reports and concisely communicate that information to Operations ManagementAssist in development and management of rolling forecasts and yearly budgets for assigned Areas, providing strategic insights and recommendations to optimize financial performanceWork closely with Project Analyst(s) on project related matters (budget changes/Estimate to Complete/write-offs/windfalls/OH Audits) to understand how these changes impact the overall financialsPerform monthly variance analyses to clearly outline any deviations from budget and/or forecast and make suggestions to improve future performanceActively participate in Monthly Project Reviews to get a thorough understanding of the risks associated to projects within the areaWork closely with Operations Management and Project Accounting to create actionable plan to make AR collection and WIP reconciliations more efficientCollaborate with Business Development to ensure CRM entries are current and comprehensive for assigned Areas to ensure future work is accurately represented in budgets/forecastsReview and provide financial oversight on any pursuits within the assigned Area to ensure pricing is accurate and appropriate margins are being achievedCollaborate with Corporate Accounting to ensure policies and procedures are being adhered toRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus5+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis, corporate finance, or related roles.
Experience in AEC industry a plusStrong financial modeling and analytical skillsProficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial planning software, ERP systems)Excellent communication and presentation abilitiesDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple prioritiesKey Competencies:Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial dataStrong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to identifying and addressing issuesEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organizationHigh level of integrity and ethical standardsAdaptability and willingness to embrace change in a dynamic environmentCompensation Range:$91,314.21 - $121,752.28
