Job Requirements Must have: Level III NICU experience Preferred or nice to have: Level III NICU Experience Autonomy in practice List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Lumbar punctures, chest tubes, intubation, IV starts, Arterial stick, UAC/UVC placement and maintenance, PAL maintenance Best personality Fit: Teamwork, helpful, flexible Schedule Information Unit Information: NICU level III Number of Beds - 24 Number of Staff – 38 Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 Charge, 4-6 RNs, 1 PCA, 1 Milk Tech Night Shift - 1 Charge, 4-6 RN Patient Ratios – level 3 2:1 (sometimes 3:1), level 2 4:1 Type of equipment – ventilator, IV pumps, CPAP, Oscillator, Phototherapy lights/blankets EMR – Meditech/ GE Centricity (CPN) Weekends required (4-5 weekend shifts a month) Unit Specific Information Tell us about the unit(s): Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - royal Blue scrubs Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.
