**Certifications:** NRP, STABLE preferred
**Must-Have:**- NRP certification- Experience with central lines, including UAC, UVC, broviacs, PICC
**Job Description:**
- Provide specialized nursing care for neonates in a 42-bed unit.- Collaborate with a team of 70 staff members to maintain high-quality patient care.- Manage patient ratios for Level 3 care (1-3 per nurse) and Level 2 care (3-4 per nurse) depending on acuity.- Utilize and maintain NICU equipment including isolettes, OMNI beds, and phototherapy units.- Document patient information using Meditech and CPN electronic medical records systems.- Perform procedures such as IV starts and oversee PICC insertions performed by trained clinicians.- Exhibit teamwork and initiative as a self-motivated professional.- Comply with unit policies and participate in rotating weekend shifts (minimum of 4 per schedule) and occasional on-call duties.- Wear the designated royal blue scrubs as part of the scrub attire.
