The Role
The position is to build and develop a global Manhattan Practice. In addition, will define and lead consulting engagements – in the supply chain domain and play an industry expert role in major transformation programs. The position will target both CPG and retail clients in Wipro’s Consumer Domain. The specific focus is to grow the Manhattan Associates suite of Supply Chain Solutions at Wipro and their current and prospective customers. The role holder will enable the opening of new engagements, execute programs, drive the adoption of innovative solutions and build / contribute to the overall supply chain domain practice.
Primary duties and responsibilities include:
Consulting Strategy: Define a sound business growth strategy built on industry consulting and technology consulting (digital, analytics, and engineering) strengths. Focus on growing Consulting to 20% of unit strength with higher billing rates and margins. Help in creating new business opportunities and new business wins (pipeline and order book).
Business Growth: The successful candidate is expected to shape, lead, and drive transformation engagements by working closely with CXOs and internal Wipro teams. The individual is also expected to lead consulting workshops to craft future state functional and solution roadmaps.
Solutions: Identify and define differentiated services and solutions for various process areas within the retail industry. Create and continuously refine cutting-edge relevant solutions showcases to be demonstrated across Wipro’s Technovation centers.
Thought Leadership: Be Wipro’s voice and a recognized thought leader across industry forums, partner events, and customer interlocks. Publish, speak, and mentor on a range of forward-looking topics around various industry segments and functions.
Branding: Create a strong Wipro market positioning and increase Wipro’s mindshare in the ecosystem (product companies, analysts, and influencers).

Personal Drive:
Entrepreneurial drive with a can-do attitude and a strong desire to win.
Leadership & Interpersonal skills:
Ability to lead and shape client opportunities, working with diverse Wipro and client teams. Build relationships with clients and partners, motivate internal teams and achieve results.
Thought Leadership:
Experience in engaging with industry leaders & analysts, and evidence of published POVs is an extra asset.
Location
This hire can be based remotely with flexibility to utilize any US city where Wipro has an office. S/He will need to travel as required, and travel may vary significantly based on the executive’s home location and other factors.
Minimum Requirements:
15 years’ experience, preferably across Retail, Distribution and Consumer goods companies - with the past 5 years managing major programs or around supply chain and the Manhattan Suite of products.
Exposure to tier-1 clients in the consumer sector industries. Deep sector expertise in two or more Retail sectors (e.g., Grocery, Fashion, Department Stores) and/or CPG sectors (e.g., Food & Beverages, Apparel & Fashion, Health & Personal Care and Agribusiness) and/or Transportation and Logistics sectors (e.g., Freight, Parcel Logistics, Public Transportation, Postal services). Exposure across the industries will be an advantage.
Functional expertise, based on recent client implementations or solution evaluations in at least four of the following areas: Logistics supply chain, Transportation management, Warehouse Management, Demand Planning, Network planning, Order management.
Exposure to tier 1 commercial packaged products and/or platforms that focus on the above functional areas, e.g., SAP/Oracle, Blue Yonder, Manhattan, Anaplan, Kinaxis, Infor, LogiNext, O9, LLamasoft.
Exposure, deep knowledge and understanding of implementing Manhattan Suite of Products including: Manhattan Active Overview, Manhattan Active Integration Platform, Manhattan Active Solutions, Manhattan Active Inventory, Manhattan Active Omni, Manhattan Active Supply Chain.
