Coordinates and oversees the daily operations of a City aquatics and recreation program site. Plans, coordinates and monitors program activities and events. Monitors aquatics and recreation program staff.Qualifications:
Education, Training and Experience:Graduation from an accredited college with an Associate of Arts degree or 60 semester units or the equivalent of college level course work in Community Services Recreation, Physical Education or a related field. Two years of recent, paid work experience planning, coordinating and implementing aquatics programs. At least one year of the recent, paid work experience must have included leading and monitoring of program staff.Additional, recent, paid and relevant work experience may substitute for the educational requirement on a year for year basis.Licenses and Certificates:Possession of a valid Class C driver license.Possession of a valid Red Cross or National/State accredited certification in cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the professional rescuer, Water Safety Instruction and lifeguard training.Possession of a lifeguard training instructor certificate, dependent upon assignment.How To Apply:
