About the Role:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Analyst to join our Capital Markets team for an exciting opportunity to support the team in establishing and maintaining funding capital from relationships with institutional investors across all five of Upgrade's lending products (personal loan, card, home improvement, indirect auto, and BNPL). This position reports into the Director of Capital Markets, and is based in our San Francisco office in a hybrid capacity (specifically on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays).
What You'll Do:
Analyze various financing options (including warehouse facilities, securitizations, forward flow whole loan sales, etc.) to determine the optimal funding strategy across all lending products (personal loan, card, home improvement, indirect auto, and BNPL)Support the negotiation of legal agreements related to structured finance transactionsProvide analysis on collateral performance by leveraging tools such as Excel, SQL, and TableauEnsure timely circulation of reporting deliverables and monitoring of covenants across transactions and productsCollaborate with internal credit, product, treasury, and operations teams to develop an effective framework for balance sheet management across lending productsDevelop and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors to deliver a best-in-class experienceWork with operations and engineering teams to ensure data integrity of investor reportingProvide support to various ongoing and future projects as neededWhat We Look For:
1+ years of capital markets experienceAdvanced in MS Suite, SQL, and TableauUnderstanding of secured and unsecured consumer lending and credit underwritingKnowledge and experience of executing structured finance transactions and/or asset-backed securities (ABS) marketsAbility to operate in a fast-paced environment to meet deal deadlinesSuperior written and verbal communication skillsGood judgment and excellent interpersonal skillsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and strong client service skillsWhat We Offer You :

The compensation range of this position in San Francisco, CA is USD $90,000-$100,000 annually plus equity and benefits. Within this range, an individual's base pay will be dependent on a variety of factors, including without limitation, job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
