We are looking for a Sr. Web UX Researcher to join our growing Web Marketing team at Databricks. You will report to the Director, Web Product and support the Databricks web ecosystem. You have a customer first mindset and take into consideration all touchpoints and interactions across the user journey. You like to collaborate and work cross functionally to provide strategic insights and conceptualize ideas via low fidelity wireframes. You possess a strong understanding of web best practices including accessibility, SEO, localization, IA and design. You use data to inform your decisions and improve UX deliverables.
The impact you will have:
Play the role of evangelist to ensure the voice of the customer is properly represented across the entire web experience
Drive the entire web ecosystem journey, including .com, training, support and beyond, to help create a unified strategy and user experience
Act as the primary liaison to the creative team by representing the web team as our unified voice to thoughtfully challenge designs and push for a balance of brand vs conversion
Partner closely with the brand team (design and content) to incorporate UX best practices into design deliverables and style guides
Partner with testing, optimization and analytics teams to understand user behavior, refine recommendations, test wireframes and recommend improvements
Perform usability testing, analyze competition and synthesize findings into actionable insights
Manage and prioritize UX requests and deliverables and help build effective processes and hand-offs between brand, production, web development, etc.
Define UX requirements as part of key web projects (redesigns, new navigation, etc.)
Establish site guidelines and standards and help to ensure web experience stays consistent
What we look for:
10+ years in a UX research role supporting a corporate website selling enterprise B2B products
Experience working closely with brand, design, content, analytics, product, etc. teams in a matrixed environment
A portfolio that demonstrates UX approach and showcases research, wireframes, user flows, guidelines, etc.
A strong point of view with the ability to present recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
Outstanding data analysis skills with an understanding of qualitative and quantitative web data metrics and how to integrate into UX approach
Solid understanding of UX best practices and focus on always staying fresh and current with the latest trends
Adept at managing and prioritizing multiple initiatives, available resources, and timelines in mind
Pay Range Transparency
Databricks is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Databricks utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
Zone 1 Pay Range: $145,500—$257,400 USD
