Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join its busy Accounting Group. This individual reviews automated time records for employees and processes and enters all information into payroll software for PCI and subsidiary company clients. Transmits data to payroll service bureau for processing, prepares, audits, analyzes, and distributes all corresponding reports as necessary.
This position is also responsible for making bank deposits for PCI and subsidiary company clients as required, posting to general ledger, performs daily reconciliation of bank deposits to payments posted, and prepares monthly reconciliation of bank statements to general ledger.
The qualified candidate should have a two-year degree or five years of previous payroll experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must have functional knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel applications, proficiency with a 10-key calculator, and proven ability to handle detail and audit payroll records with confidentiality.
Additional knowledge in these areas will be plus for any candidate:
MS Dynamics experienceExperience in ADP payroll softwareAble to work in a fast-paced team environment
The successful will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and must work well with a variety of coworkers. Must also have a high level of comfort in working with computer systems.
