Nurse Practitioner or Physicians Assistant - Department of Hematology/Oncology
Physicians' Clinic of Iowa's Department of Hematology/Oncology, has a full time position available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant-Certified. This is an excellent opportunity to join a team of highly dedicated physicians and staff whose primary mission is to provide high quality, compassionate care to our patients.
You will be a member of a team of three Oncologists, three advanced practice providers, nurses and other professionals dedicated to the care of our patients. Primary responsibilities would include providing hematology/oncology patient care in conjunction with developing treatment plans and providing patient education.
Candidates should have clinical expertise in the management of acute and chronic conditions related to cancer and blood disorders. Previous oncology experience and oncology certification are preferred. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills are required. An attention to detail is required.
