Statement
of the Position:
The IT Network Administrator Sr. is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's enterprise-level network infrastructure. This role involves leading network projects, ensuring network security, and optimizing network performance to meet the evolving needs of the business. The IT Network Administrator Sr. also acts as a technical expert, providing leadership, mentorship, and collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless network integration and performance.

Duties and Responsibilities / Essential Functions:
Enterprise Network Design: Oversee the design and implementation of enterprise-level network architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability. Lead network infrastructure projects, from planning and design through to implementation and maintenance. Network Security: Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure from threats. Conduct regular security assessments and audits, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Network Performance Optimization: Monitor and analyze network performance, identifying and addressing bottlenecks and vulnerabilities. Implement advanced networking technologies and optimization strategies to improve network efficiency and reliability. Incident Response and Troubleshooting: Lead incident response efforts for critical network incidents, ensuring rapid resolution and minimal business impact. Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex network issues and act as the final escalation point for the network administration team. Leadership and Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the technical support escalation team, fostering professional growth and technical development. Act as a technical advisor to IT leadership on network-related matters. Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network, server, and security solutions. Drive continuous improvement in network operations, focusing on efficiency, scalability, and security. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation of network architecture, security measures, and performance metrics. Prepare and present regular reports to IT leadership on network performance, security, and project progress. Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. There is a possibility for overtime and on-call rotation hours.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms.
Required Education, Experience & Competencies:
Formal Education & Certification
• Bachelor's degree in information technology, networking, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Networking certifications for Azure, Cisco, and/or Meraki are a plus.
Knowledge and Experience
• 6-8 years of experience in network administration and architecture.
Demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale network projects and complex network environments. Extensive knowledge of enterprise network architecture, security, and management. Strong leadership and project management skills. Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities.

• Ability to conduct research into a wide range of computing issues as required and keep up to date on emerging technologies.
• Ability to absorb and retain information quickly.
