Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Rehab, Med Surg Job Duration: 13-18 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) Must-Have: - Experience with trach care and G-tube - Experience with ventilator management Job Description: - Work schedule includes every third weekend from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM.- No call requirements.- Must be willing to float to other units.- Responsible for providing compassionate care and patient education.- Work with equipment including tube feed, ventilators, trach care, Alaris IV Pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, and suction, among others.- Use of electronic medical records systems: Cerner and ITW.- Maintain patient ratios of 1:5 during night shifts.- Adhere to dress code, with a scrub color of Galaxy Blue; hoodies, t-shirts, and sweatshirts are not permitted.- Ensure all candidates are flu vaccinated.- Ability to communicate effectively with patients and families.- Strong self-learning capability and adaptability to unit needs.- Fulfill all assignment duties, with holidays requiring manager approval for scheduling.
