Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Rehab/Neuro Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Every third weekend: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Trach care and G-Tube experience Job Description: - All candidates must be flu vaccinated.- Willingness to float to other units as needed.- Work in a unit specializing in spinal and brain injury.- Manage a 28-bed unit with patient ratios of 1:6 during the day and 1:8 during the night.- Use and manage equipment such as tube feeds, ventilators, trach care, Alaris IV pumps, Hoyer lifts, Kangaroo pumps, negative pressure wound therapy, suction, and ventilators.- Utilize the Cerner and ITW EMR systems effectively.- Exhibit a compassionate and communicative personality, with the ability to educate patients and their families.- Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs (excluding hoodies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, and attire outside the uniform).
