Description:
The Analyst Data Products role sits within the Data Products team, and assists the Data Product Managers with many tasks related to both existing data assets and the creation of new ones. This position offers a unique opportunity to engage in a wide range of data-related activities, from exploratory data analysis and dataset documentation to maintaining data quality monitors. Ideal for analytical minds, this role requires a proactive approach to solving complex problems and the ability to clearly present findings and recommendations. By participating in various ad-hoc tasks, the Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the team's mission to build and refine data products that are critical for strategic decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities:Performing Exploratory Data Analysis on new or existing datasets and assisting with documenting what the dataset expressesProcessing, cleansing, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysisDoing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear mannerssisting in the build-out and maintenance of data quality monitors in a data observability platformssisting product managers with the tracking of usage metrics across our data assetsCollaborating with matrix partners to understand data problems and document potential resolutionsssisting Data Product Managers with testing efforts on new data assetsOther duties as assigned
Minimum Experience and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics or a related area; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experienceOne (1) year of working experience using Structured Query Language (SQL)Knowledge of IT disciplines and interdependenciesExcellent problem solving and structured thinking skillsvailable for overnight travel (10%)Must pass a pre-employment drug testMust be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is locateduthorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:Prior experience in airline, transportation or hospitality industriesProven experience with dbt (data build tool), Snowflake, Monte Carlo, Tableau, and Azure Data FactoryPrior experience on a technical product team
