Job Description & Requirements Registered Respiratory Therapist - Pediatric Intensive Care - (RRT - PICU) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 N Pay Rate: $1870.10 - $2154.68 REQUIRED: RRT certification, BLS, PALS, NRP, ACLS Job Summary: Administers all forms of respiratory care, both critical and general therapy, and directs and manages the respiratory and pulmonary care for a designated group of patients. Provides respiratory assessment, support, treatment, and diagnostic tests as part of the healthcare team. Certifications - Required: • RESP REG - Respiratory Therapist, Registered NBRC RRT • AHA BCLS - Basic Life Support • AHA PALS: Pediatric Advanced Life Support • AHA NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Program •AHA ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Certificate Licensure - Required: • Respiratory Care Practitioner - PA state license Education - Required: • Associate's Degree Graduate from an RRT program accredited by the commission of accreditation for Respiratory Care Experience - Required: • 1 year Experience as a registered respiratory therapist in either PICU or Level 4 NICU. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - Required: • Ability to provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques. • Ability to operate and trouble-shoot diagnostic equipment.
