The City of Canyonville is on the lookout for a proactive and motivated candidate to fill the role of Public Works Supervisor. This pivotal position involves directing and collaborating with teams in the streets, parks, and treatment plant departments. The ideal candidate will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiencies while developing impactful safety training programs.
Applicants should possess a strong understanding of municipal infrastructure and possess skills in building maintenance. A critical component of this position is the ability to interpret construction documents, plans, and blueprints. Furthermore, candidates must either already hold or be willing to obtain essential certifications in both water and wastewater treatment.
A minimum of five years of experience in a relevant field, with at least two years in a leadership or supervisory role, is necessary for this position. In addition, candidates must obtain a commercial driver’s license within 30 days of hiring.
