Job/Position DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join our team! Responsibilities include planning, developing, implementing, and advancing the transformation of data into actionable information to help strengthen the programs that support the citizens of Texas. To be successful in this role, you must have excellent customer service skills, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Work involves conducting detailed analysis of data sets, performing data needs assessment, data acquisition, cleaning and standardization, extraction, transformation and loading into database systems; designing, coding, testing, implementing, and maintaining computer applications to increase efficiency through the automation of routine tasks. This position is within Access and Eligibility Services (AES), Data Management and Reporting (DMR) Division. AES is driven by its mission to connect Texans to services by helping individuals and families in need of food, medical care, cash assistance and other social services.This position offers work-from-home balance. Currently, a minimum of one day in the office is required. This is subject to change. The state of Texas requires all employees to maintain personal wi-fi and webcam capabilities during works hours to perform job duties. Applicants from outside Texas must be willing to relocate within 30 days of hire. This position is for U.S. Citizens or residents only.
