Under the direction of our Occupational Therapists, you will play a key role in delivering hands-on care to our residents. From therapeutic activities to daily skill training, your work will help patients build strength, confidence, and independence.
*Key Responsibilities:** Provide occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.* Assist in implementing individualized care plans aimed at improving patients' functional abilities and quality of life.* Document treatment sessions, track progress, and report changes in patient conditions.* Encourage residents to engage in therapeutic activities that improve motor skills and daily function.* Ensure adherence to safety protocols and create a respectful, caring environment.
*Qualifications:** Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.* Active COTA license in [State].* Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is preferred.* Strong communication skills and a team-focused mindset.* Patient-centered, compassionate, and detail-oriented.
