The ideal candidate will assist licensed physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care, focusing on rehabilitation and recovery. This role is essential in helping patients regain mobility, strength, and function through various therapeutic techniques and exercises.
*Responsibilities** Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.* Perform therapeutic exercises and modalities as directed by the supervising therapist.* Conduct assessments of patients' progress and report findings to the physical therapist.* Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.* Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, progress notes, and discharge planning.* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in inpatient and outpatient settings to ensure comprehensive patient care.* Utilize knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and orthopedics to enhance patient treatment outcomes.* Engage in trigger point therapy techniques as needed for pain management.* Work effectively with pediatric patients, adapting treatments to meet their unique needs.
*Experience*Candidates should possess a strong background in physical therapy practices, with experience or knowledge in the following areas being highly beneficial:* Trigger point therapy* Pediatrics* Medical terminology* Inpatient care* Anatomy knowledge* Acute care settings* Clinic operations* Patient care methodologies* Discharge planning processes* Orthopedic rehabilitation
