Key Responsibilities: • Serve as our company's delegate while visiting investment site. • The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure accurate and timely deliverables of the monthly financial result and information according to US GAAP. • Review and analyze the financial result, general ledger, sub-ledger, and supporting documents from our investment company and timely prepare monthly journal entries and relevant disclosures. • Understand investment company's processes and assist them with process documentation for establishing effective internal controls. • Uphold accounting and company policies and prevent unauthorized transactions. • Support accounting functions, such as order release, credit check, month-end closing, as cross-training. • Prepare ad-hoc reports and projects as assigned. • Requires regular out-of-state travel. • Report to VP of Finance & Accounting
Qualifications & Skills: • Bachelor's degree in accounting or business field • Mix of public and corporate accounting experience over 5 years • Advanced MS Excel skills • Able to handle regular out-of-state travel. • Ideal candidate must have worked at a local or regional public accounting firm • Have audit experience • Manufacturing experience (cost accounting, variance analysis)
Preferred / Plus: • Big 4 audit experience • Experience in manufacturing industry • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Japanese communication
