STR BTP Release Engineer

Description: What You Will Be Doing A Structures Build To Print (BTP) Release Engineer is responsible for analysis of engineering release data, support of engineering design, manufacturing planning, tooling, and Flight test personnel in the finalization of design and change data in the release system, and troubleshooting of problems or new procedures for unique release occurrences. The Release Engineer manages Type-Version-Effectivity (TVE) and feed-downs, generates reports, and manages the Request for Engineering Action (REA) system. Basic Qualifications: Associate degree or higher in Business or a technical field. Experience with engineering processes, documents, and data. Familiarity with Lockheed Aero engineering release, design, and change management processes, data, and documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Desired Skills: Has experience with engineering release procedures, including Lockheed Aeronautics systems such as EDMS and CADDataNet. Has experience with Engineering Change Notices, Aircraft Equipment Instructions (AEIs), Parts Lists, Application Lists, and and other engineering data management procedures. Has experience with F-16, F-22, C-130 or similar programs . Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
