Digital. Dominant. Ready. The F-22 Program is seeking a Lead Systems Architect to ensure the Raptor continues to provide our nation and allies air superiority as a pathfinder to next-generation technologies.
What You Will Be DoingAs a Systems Architecture Principal you will be primarily responsible for:Designing, developing and overseeing system architectures, including systems design activities.Serving as focal point for the development and communication of the system architecture.Ensuring conversion of mission requirements into total systems solutions that account for design and technology maturity constraints of the system.Developing systems and system element architecture, design, and interface definition.Supporting internal and external design reviews, including international teams.Maintaining knowledge of current and developing technologies and design and analysis methodologies.Developing models and architectural guidelines for current and future system development.Collaborating with architects across platforms to synergize LM Aero systems for re-use.In this role you will also focus on prioritizing customer capabilities and developing an architectural approach that supports continuous, incremental advancement for their capability set.

Basic Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in STEM discipline (Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering preferred)Demonstrated experience with software architecture, networking, and computer resources (memory, processing, etc.)Demonstrated knowledge of systems architecture best practicesDesired Skills:Expertise in Radiofrequency (RF), Infrared (IR), and data link systemsExperience with the F-22 programExperience with proposals and cost estimating for military programsStrong programmatic and communications skillsSecurity Clearance Statement:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.Schedule for this Position:
