Account Director of Transient Sales

to join the Sales Team!

Located in the beautiful coastal town of Dana Point adjacent to Laguna Beach, this town played an iconic role in the emergence of California's surf culture and today is celebrated for its laid-back vibe and fun, active lifestyle.

The resort is perched on 175 acres atop a 150-foot seaside bluff with over 400 rooms, 115,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting space, and 8 food and Beverage outlets. This includes 4 restaurants, a beach club, lounge, marketplace, and IRD.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will revolve around research, strategic development, and proactive solicitation of sales within the niche of Consortia Accounts, including prominent partners such as American Express FHR, Virtuoso, Signature Travel, Internova. Additionally, you will manage and nurture relationships with International Sales. This selling role is focused on West Coast deployment.

The ideal candidate must have at least 3-5 years leisure sales experience, and it would be beneficial to have consortia and luxury experience. It is also required to be in market near the resort for site visits and connecting with clients when programs are onsite. Delphi FDC experience is preferred. Luxury and/or resort experience is required.

What will I be doing?

Researches, develops and solicits new FIT and Group Tour business while maintaining relationships with current accounts.Travels outside of the office to meet with customers and prospective customers to develop business, make proposals, negotiate contracts, maintain contacts, conduct site inspections and close deals.Consistently meets with and entertains customers, conducts property tours, participates in tradeshows and industry and community events to promote facilities and services.What are we looking for?

Salary Range:

The annual salary range for this role is $90,000-$120,000 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
