Patrona Corporation is looking for motivated individuals ready to join a fast-paced and exciting work environment in supporting PEO IWS, the U.S. Navy's office responsible for acquiring state-of-the-art ship and submarine combat and weapons systems, as a Public Affairs Specialist.Patrona Corporation is a DoD federal contractor providing program management, engineering, strategic and operational planning, quality assurance, financial management, and administrative support services.This position is contingent upon the award of the PEO IWS contract.Work Location
Washington D.C. metropolitan areaThis position allows a minimal opportunity to work remotely.Security Clearance
Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's level degree with 7 years of related professional experience. ORHigh School Degree and 11 years related professional experience.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Support the Program Office's legislative and Public affairs processes, monitoring congressional actions that may affect PEO IWS programs, and supporting the development of strategic external communication through correspondence, publications, and presentations at conferences and hearings.Skills and Abilities
