Director of Talent Management . As the company experiences rapid growth with an aggressive business model, its HR organization is gearing up for a pivotal HR transformation.
Position Overview:The Director of Talent Management, reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer, will lead the charge in establishing and expanding the talent management function and learning programs across the organization. This newly created role will be instrumental in crafting the talent framework and solutions crucial for the sustained success and growth of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to deliver a robust talent and development agenda aligned with business needs.
Innovate and execute engaging learning programs, overseeing instructional design and development processes.
Spearhead the creation of curricula for Leadership Development programs in alignment with company philosophy and values.
Collaborate closely with the Training team to ensure best practices are shared and integrated throughout the enterprise.
Evaluate and enhance performance management processes and systems to drive high performance and engagement across the organization.
Drive talent review, succession planning, and high-potential processes.
Work closely with business leaders and the HR team to ensure programs meet organizational needs and build capability.
Serve as an internal consultant on organizational design and talent solutions, facilitating team sessions as necessary.
Assist with organizational design and change initiatives, identifying and managing external vendors to deliver desired project outcomes.
Assess business challenges and implement organizational effectiveness strategies while monitoring progress and suggesting continuous improvements.
Lead or participate in department projects and initiatives as necessary.
Launch and oversee employee engagement surveys, tracking progress against action plans.
The Ideal Candidate:The successful candidate should possess a minimum of 15 years of talent management experience, preferably in a highly matrixed and fast-paced environment. Strong exposure to implementing talent management strategies across diverse geographies and cultures is essential. An analytical and solutions-oriented individual with a solid foundation in customizing talent solutions and processes, coupled with leadership development knowledge. Excellent communication and influencing skills, combined with the ability to work well in a team, exhibit self-initiative, and cultural sensitivity to drive talent programs across multiple sites.
