Position
The Director of Talent Management will play a leadership role in cultivating high-performance enterprise-wide talent practices. As a member of the Human Capital team, this individual will be a key driver for talent programs across Rockefeller Capital Management. They will partner with various stakeholders firmwide to deliver best-in-class learning & development, and talent management practices. This individual will own and develop talent strategies and execute development and management programs that are aligned with strategic business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent development, talent management and organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise and support in the design, delivery and implementation of learning initiatives and talent programs firmwide.
- Develop and execute learning and development strategies aligned with organizational goals, including skills training and mentoring initiatives.
- Evaluate and integrate innovative learning technologies to enhance employee engagement and development.
- Develop, manage, implement, and sustain enterprise-wide talent practices such as employee learning and development, leadership development, career programs, succession planning, talent review, and culture & community initiatives.
- Lead a team of talent development professionals, providing guidance, support and professional growth opportunities.
- Identify talent needs across the enterprise to inform strategic priorities in alignment with overarching talent strategy and business needs.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of talent programs, using data and feedback to make continuous improvements.
- Facilitate engaging and impactful learning experiences, incorporating varied instructional methods to cater to various learning styles.
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation, accountability and scalability of learning & development initiatives, ensuring Rockefeller remains at the forefront of talent innovation.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and development across the firm.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of dynamic talent development and/or talent management experience; financial service experience preferred.
- Extensive experience delivering development programs.
- Can operate in ambiguity and drive a clear vision for the team, even as things change rapidly.
Skills
- Deep understanding of talent development programs and talent management practices.
- Strong facilitation skills, engaging style in front of both small and large audiences.
- Project management experience with ability to manage multiple high visibility priorities.
- Ability to design and implement full-cycle performance management programs.
- Strong communication skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Proficiency across the Microsoft Office suite with advanced Excel skills.
Compensation Range
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $175,000 to $200,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.
