At the intersection of technology and the human experience, Altera Digital Health is driving a new era of healthcare, in which innovation and expertise can elevate care delivery and inspire healthier communities across the globe.***HR BUSINESS PARTNER – HEALTHCARE IT***Remote US-based RoleThis Associate Will Work Eastern Time Zone HoursKEY RESPONSIBILITIESServe as a key, trusted advisor and facilitator of people initiatives for the executive leadership teamPartner with business unit leaders to understand business goals and align the people strategy to compliment.Develop and administer programs to help align the workforce with our strategic goalsProvide consultation and guidance to leaders regarding all people-related items; i.e. promotions, performance management, discipline, and terminationsAssist employees and leaders with navigating difficult situationsRespond to employee and leader inquiries regarding company policies, programs, and benefits.Ensure policies and programs are consistently applied in accordance with our core values; aware of industry trends and changes in legal requirementsProvide direction and guidance to leaders regarding federal and state employment lawsDeliver compensation administration to include promotion recommendations, administration of salary review process, and distribution of approved total rewardsSupport employee engagement, talent management, and community engagement.Provide organizational design support including job analysis and role profile creationPrepare employee separation notices and related documentationProvide goal-setting support related to business unit and individual goalsRepresent the company at unemployment hearingsAssist with new hire on-boarding processServe as project team member to ensure deliverables and deadlines are metPrepare training materials and conduct training sessions as needed.Able to make sound judgments about when to escalate an issue and who to escalate it toJOB REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent years of experienceSHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, preferred.PHR or SPHR certification, preferred.Work Experience2+ years’ relevant experience in human resources, with a focus on business partnering.Experienced in supporting technology companies, preferred.Knowledgeable of HR policies and procedures and of federal and state employment laws.Experience with HR software systems and/or performance management systemsExtensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws.Strong communication and interpersonal skillsSkilled at building relationships with all levels of the organization.Work experience that required strategic thinking and challenging problem resolutionProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.WORK LOCATIONRemote role. Regardless of location, this associate will work eastern time zone hours.TRAVEL15% travel may be required.Our company complies with all local/state regulations in regard to displaying salary ranges.
