Vision, Medical, Life, Dental, 401KSummaryOneStream is seeking an experienced and highly professional Senior Scrum Master I to join the Product Management team. This leadership role is pivotal in guiding the teams to deliver maximum value and achieve organizational goals. The ideal candidate will plan, organize, and track the development of OneStream platform features and domain solutions across 2-3 scrum teams. Superior facilitation skills, exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, and a proactive approach to team success are essential. While travel requirements are minimal, occasional travel may be necessary based on business needs. Join us to make a significant impact in a dynamic environment!Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesHighly adept at working with Development and Product teams to understand the OneStream Platform and/or domain solutions to be able to guide the team effectively through estimation exercises.Guide and coach scrum teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.Foster continuous improvement and coach scrum teams to a higher level of self-organizing maturity, at a pace that is sustainable and comfortable for the team and organization.Mentor, train and support other Scrum Masters through cross-pollination of best practices.Assist in educating and training new hires about Agile concepts and OneStream processes around feature development.Expert facilitation skills and high ability to effectively support all scrum events, including: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, Backlog Refinements, and Retrospective.Ensure that all Agile and Scrum processes are both documented and followed. Consistently work with teams to identify successful approaches that help the teams reach their goals.Create and manage complex dashboards in JIRA related to information needed by key stakeholders and the scrum teams for release, Epic, and sprint progress, progress on stories and bugs, and prioritizing work backlogs.Strong coordination with the Product Manager and delivery teams to understand overall roadmap priorities and ensure detailed execution plans align with these priorities; highlight conflicts or gaps to enable resolution.Track and follow up on all action items and blockers that arise from meetings or discussions to ensure they are implemented or addressed.Partner closely with Senior Management and VP leaders through consistent communication for status updates and process improvements.Run regularly scheduled meetings with senior leadership to advise on release planning, roadmapping, and status reporting; utilizing digital whiteboard applications such as Miro or similar.Remove roadblocks to the teams and coach the team to remove roadblocks in a proactive and strategic manner.
Required Education and ExperienceBachelor's Degree.Scrum Certification: A-CSM (Advanced CSM).5+ years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master in a software environment.Coaches and supports 2-3 Scrum teams simultaneously.7+ years total work experience in scrum, project, or program management.
Preferred Education and ExperienceAbility to understand strong technical language; apply knowledge and critical thinking skills in day-to-day problems and solutions.Highly skilled and knowledgeable of servant leadership, superior facilitation techniques, high situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.Skilled in complex problem solving, judgment, critical thinking and decision making.Effectively communicates through written and verbal mediums with technical employees.Ability to be versatile and handle multiple projects and re-prioritizations.Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles.Outstanding negotiation and coaching skills.Expert in agile frameworks or methods (e.g. Scrum, Scrumban, and Kanban), and understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices.Fully proficient in backlog refinements, story splitting, story estimation methods, velocity, capacity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques.Highly competent in planning, story mapping, and problem solving with product management and delivery teams.Expert in the use of Agile delivery tools such as, Jira, Confluence, TFS, and Office 365.
