What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions for scientists and researchersDesign and implement scalable foundational services for data processing and user managementWork on ML infrastructure and Generative AI applications to enhance scientific use casesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to transform product vision into tangible resultsEngage in continuous learning and contribute to team success through effective communication
What is Required (Qualifications):Strong proficiency (7+ years) in Node.js, TypeScript, and PythonOver 7 years of experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Extensive experience with databases, including relational and NoSQLExperience with big data distributed systems such as Databricks and SnowflakeBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):Proven track record with large-scale data distributed systemsExcellent verbal, written, and presentation skillsAbility to articulate technical vision while being open to feedbackExperience working in Agile software development environmentsFamiliarity with lakehouse technologies such as AWS EMR and Glue
