Seeking Chief Financial Officer for industry leader
Our client is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their executive team. As Chief Financial Officer, you'll lead the company's financial strategy, oversee accounting systems, and ensure the financial stability of the organization. This role requires a strong strategic vision and meticulous attention to detail to drive growth and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:- Financial Systems and Controls: Establish and maintain effective financial systems, procedures, and internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance.
- Capital Planning: As the Chief Financial Officer, you will lead capital planning initiatives, assessing and forecasting financial requirements to support the company's long-term goals.
- Reporting and Communication: Direct internal and external reporting processes, and communicate critical financial insights to the Board of Directors and other stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Develop the annual budget, monitor performance, and provide insights on budget adherence to align with organizational goals.
- Strategic Financial Leadership: Participate in strategic decision-making, evaluate the capital impact of new initiatives, and assess both interest rate and liquidity risks.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Serve as the liaison with auditors and regulatory bodies, ensuring that all financial operations align with legal requirements and industry standards.
- Treasury Oversight: As Chief Financial Officer, oversee liquidity management, contingency planning, and enterprise risk management programs.
- Vendor and Risk Management: Assess third-party risks, maintain vendor relationships, and manage a robust vendor management program.
- Stakeholder Relations: Oversee shareholder relations, coordinate with the registrar, and ensure transparency and effective communication.
- Positive Leadership: Bring confidence, positivity, and a results-driven attitude to each interaction within the company.
- Bachelors degree in relevant field
- Proven experience in a Chief Financial Officer or similar role within translatable industry.
- Exceptional knowledge of financial regulations, capital planning, risk management, and budget development.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
