Main Responsibilities of SEC Reporting Accountant:

• Responsibilities for the Senior Accountant External Reporting will include the preparation and filing of various SEC reports including earnings releases, proxy statements, and prospectus supplements
• Preparing quarterly packages for Senior Management
• Analyzing and documenting internal controls related to financial reporting
• Assisting with the implementation of new technical accounting policies
• Supporting the identification of opportunities for automation enhancements
• Performing special projects as needed

Qualifications of SEC Reporting Accountant:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting of Finance, CPA, or in the process of becoming a CPA
• At least 2 years of experience in preparing and analyzing financial statements and SEC reporting
• Financial Services Industry experience desired
• Knowledge of MS Access and Excel macro proficiency desired
