Our vision is to be the leader of interconnect solutions in the North American target market segments.SummaryAssist QA Manager in coordinating daily Quality Control activities for inspection and manufacturing support.Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for performing inspection of components received from suppliers or partners as well as product manufactured in house, as required, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications. Prepare inspection plans for incoming inspection and manufacturing, as well as quality records and documentation (quality procedures and work instructions) as required. Provide quality control support to Manufacturing, participate in troubleshooting of quality issues with manufacturing builds Interface with Engineering and Operations on setting up inspection plans for new product. This includes new inspection equipment and fixture requirements. Complete documentation necessary for the support of inspection or testing, including inventory forms, data capture forms and equipment logbooks. Ensure equipment is calibrated, validated and maintained properly and ensure safety during operation of equipment. Assist QA Manager in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective action for process related concerns and customer complaints (evaluate RMAs). May participate in the internal audit program to monitor adherence to policies and procedures. Participate in continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen, lean methods, etc. Work with the ERP system (SAP) Perform other duties as assigned by manager. Able to lift up to 50 (fifty) pounds.QualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must: Be able to read detail drawings and understand GD&T concept and symbols. Be able to operate or learn to operate inspection tools and equipment (including automated equipment). Maintain a high standard of quality through all aspects of the job. Be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Be a team player willing to assist where needed and be a self-starter. Have good communications skills to work effectively with Engineering and Manufacturing personnel. Have good mathematical skills (ability to add, subtract, divide, perform basic calculations such as ratios, percentages and rates).Education and/or Experience AA degree + 5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to comprehend complex verbal and written instructions. Metrology knowledge desired. Experience with CMM / VMM equipment preferred Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques and manufacturing quality tools. Knowledge of manufacturing methods and processes, including injection molding, machining, and automated assembly and production equipment. Ability to operate electronic measuring equipment. Ability to use a computer, especially Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and email. Ability to prepare written reports and other documents.Salary range - $28-$30/hour
