JHNA is currently seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer/Architect to support our PEO Army Aviation customer at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This is a hybrid support role which will require ability to support on-site as needed.
In this role you will Lead Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Team to promote peer review, knowledge sharing and training across multiple contracts within JHNA. Serve as Manager for MBSE engineers guiding professional development.Roles/Responsibilities:
Responsible for all MBSE training within PEO Aviation: created and delivered new training products and facilitated classes for contracted trainers.
Provide MBSE expertise in Digital Engineering Transformation and Modular Open Systems Approach (MOSA) for various programs and projects.
Act as Lead Systems Engineer and Product Owner for an enterprise architecture framework model to support PEO Aviation MOSA Transformation Office.
Create custom profiles in Cameo Enterprise Architect
Create Views, Viewpoints, and Viewpoint Diagrams to convert model information into review documents for external stakeholders using Cameo Document Modeling plugin and Cameo Collaborator.
Create Department of Defense Architectural Framework (DoDAF) views using Unified Profile for DoDAF/MODAF (UPDM), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF), and Systems Modeling Language (SysML).
Write validation rules/suite for use within defined customer process.
Write training modules for customized profiles, views, and validation rules.
Serve as modeling Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PEO Aviation programs.
Develop and maintain MagicDraw SysML and UAF models to support MOSA objectives.
Provide technical expertise on architecture development, reviewing models developed by contractor.
Experience with (FVL) Architecture Framework (FAF) in support of PEO Aviation Architecture Collaboration Working Group (ACWG).
Lead effort to evaluate software component models to support component reusability analysis.
Participate in PEO Aviation MBSE and Digital Engineering working groups.
Participate in Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) consortium events and technical interchange meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must be a U.S Citizen with an active DoD Clearance
Candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in a STEM field/focus from an accredited college/university.
At least 10 years of hands-on systems engineering experience, preferably on DoD Mission, Aircraft or Weapons Systems
At least 5 years of hands on MBSE experience (CAMEO/ MAGICDRAW)
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in a STEM field/focus from an accredited college/university
