Job Summary:

This contract position requires a Senior Business System Analyst (BSA) to serve as a product administrator for Atlassian JIRA, Box.com, and other small SaaS/Client products that may be implemented in the future. The role involves supporting product implementation, maintenance, and enhancement requests, along with troubleshooting and vendor management. The ideal candidate will have experience in cloud-based or on-premise Client product administration, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both business and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the IT product configuration administrator for Atlassian JIRA, Box.com, and future SaaS/Client products.

• Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify and implement configuration-based enhancements using industry best practices.

• Troubleshoot configuration-related issues, determine resolution steps, and escalate to vendor support when needed.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to evaluate product upgrades and assess their impact on systems and business processes.

• Elicit, develop, and prioritize requirements for product enhancements.

• Create and maintain detailed business, system, and data documentation.

• Develop data mappings for integration with legacy systems, as needed.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for the IT Production Support team.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop governance standards and operational support plans for supported products.

• Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for both the usage and technical implementation of supported applications.

• Resolve issues related to connectivity and interfaces with other systems in collaboration with other IT groups.

• Guide stakeholders through the project initiation process for enhancements beyond the scope of day-to-day administration.

• Coordinate change management efforts to ensure adherence to process for each release, including configuration changes.

• Mentor and train back-up resources, if available.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as a Senior BSA and as a cloud-based or on-premise Client product administrator.

• Ability to learn and adapt to new products and systems quickly.

• Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting capabilities.

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and translate goals into actionable tasks.

• Experience managing multiple assignments based on priority and complexity.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage both IT and business professionals.

• Proficiency in facilitating meetings and gathering requirements effectively.

• Experience writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Atlassian JIRA administration.

• Experience with Box.com administration.

• Knowledge of governance standards and operational support plans for SaaS/Client products.

• Ability to develop logical designs for product enhancements.

• Familiarity with creating and publishing process flows.

Bachelors Degree
