REQUIREMENTS
2+ years of business analysis experienceMust be able to pass NCJIS background check.Knowledge of the principals and practices of business analysis and project management.High-level understanding architecture of enterprise and end-user computing; principles and practices of system analysis and customer support.Advanced social and communication skills necessary for leading project teams and business analysis efforts; department policies and procedures.Ability to independently exercise good judgment within established procedural guidelines.Translate customer department needs into project requirements and operational/strategic plans.Professionally document, organize, communicate and present information in formal settings.Read and comprehend complex training materials and manuals.Follow written and verbal directions.Meet productivity standards.Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.Communicate effectively using technical language.Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.Engage in project work as directed from inception to completion.Assist others in the development of business analysis documentation.PREFERRED
Certification as CBAP or other Business Analysis CertificationIntermediate or senior-level BALocal government and/or public safety experienceRESPONSIBILITIES
Working with the Project PM and stakeholders, prepares business requirements, integration requirements and technical requirementsCreates AS IS/TO BE Swimlane Process Flow diagrams, performance measurement documentation, and use case scenario testing documentation as needed; conducts feasibility studies and gap analysis as needed.
