Key Skills:
5+ years of experience with Kubernetes, GitOps, Docker, and cloud deployment technologiesProven hands-on experience designing, installing, configuring, operating, and monitoring CI/CD pipeline tools specifically GitLab Ultimate, Docker, Terraform, CloudWatch, AWS, and AnsibleStrong knowledge of Linux (RHEL preferred) and scripting tools such as Python, Bash, PowerShellIn-depth knowledge of AWS managed services, automation, and orchestration.Experience with cybersecurity requirements such as secure-by-design and zero-trust architectureCurrent AWS Solution Architect certification is required.Must be willing to obtain a CompTIA Security+ certification.Position Overview
As a Cloud/DevOps Architect at IBR, you will support the Agile-based engineering of robust, secure, and scalable enterprise solutions supporting over one million users hosted in AWS. You will work with multiple teams to plan, design, deploy, and sustain systems in AWS GovCloud. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AWS cloud services, hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, and deep knowledge of cloud security best practices. This role requires extensive hands-on experience. Candidates need to showcase experience where they have provided first-hand support to AWS and CI/CD deployment environments that show increasing levels of complexity.
Responsibilities
Serve as a mentor to junior Cloud and DevOps engineers. Provide technical guidance to application teams to use cloud technologies and implement cloud infrastructure as needed.Serve as a design engineer for futureSupports the planning, design, and implementation of AWS application cloud architectures.Plan, develop, and deploy infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and Ansible tools.Ensures compliance with security requirements by implementing and managing security controls and policies within the cloud environment.Work with architecture, DevOps, Ops, and application teams to support documentation of application internal/external interface requirements for Development, Testing, Staging, and Production environmentsWork with application teams to ensure compliance with High Availability and Disaster Recovery plansImplements middleware application-specific requirements as neededImplements migration efforts with application teams, including data migration.Qualifications
10+ years of experience planning, building, and supporting AWS Cloud and DevOps environment with increasing complexityMust possess an active Secret or TS security clearanceBachelor Degree in IT related field requiredExtensive Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as Lambda, ELB, ECS, EKS, WAFv2, Route53, AWS AppStream, AWS Workspaces etc.Extensive Experience with CI/CD frameworks (i.e., Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Extensive Experience in automation and scripting tools (i.e., Bash, Python, Shell, Perl)Extensive Experience in deploying cloud resources using IaC tools specifically Terraform and AnsibleExtensive Experience with application and system performance monitoring and logging tools like Cloud Watch, App Dynamics, and Splunk.
