We are seeking a talented Data Engineer to join our growing technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing database management systems, standards, guidelines and quality assurance for database deliverables. Key responsibilities include:Designing and implementing database solutions to store and organize dataDeveloping database documentation including conceptual design, logical database schema, capacity planning, external data interface specifications, data loading plans, data maintenance plans, and security policiesEvaluating and installing optimal database management systems and toolsCoding complex Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and database proceduresBuilding user interfaces, screens, reports, and dashboards to access database informationWorking closely with data analysts, engineers, and end users to understand data and system requirementsEnsuring high quality data standards, integrity, and accessibilityProviding database expertise to model, store, and optimize dataDetermining optimal data storage organization, table relationships, and field interactionsWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field8+ years of experience designing, developing, and managing relational databases and data pipelinesExpertise with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.Experience with data warehousing and ETL processesKnowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, C#Understanding of data architecture patterns and principlesStrong analytical, communication, and collaboration skillsThis is an outstanding opportunity to play an instrumental role in building cutting-edge data platforms.
