At Nike, it's about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.WHAT YOU WILL WORK ONDesign, implement, and maintain database management systems, data warehouses, and data infrastructureDevelop database standards, policies, guidelines, and quality assurance proceduresCreate conceptual, logical, and physical data models and database schemasExtract, transform, and load data from various sources into databases and data warehousesBuild efficient and reusable ETL processes for data integration and preparation for analysisCreate database reports, dashboards, and visualizations to make data usable for business analysts and leadershipImplement data security and access controlsMonitor database performance and optimize as neededDocument database design, processes, and proceduresWHAT YOU BRINGBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field10+ years of experience as a data engineer or database developerExpertise with SQL and NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.Experience with data pipelines, ETL, and data warehousingKnowledge of programming languages like Python, Java, Scala, Spark, etc.Understanding of data modeling, database design, and data structuresWorking knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization toolsExcellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
