Job Description
Our client is seeking a motivated Energy Financial Analyst to join their dynamic team in Fort Worth. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of investment banking experience, particularly within the energy sector. This role requires strong financial modeling skills, and a passion for analyzing market trends and investment opportunities.
Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the finance group in performing detailed due diligence on acquisition targets Perform transactional due diligence regarding market, industry, and target research to enable data-driven decision-making Participate in end-to-end acquisition process Build complex financial models to analyze investment returns and conduct various analyses to explore potential oil and gas acquisitions Assist in drafting internal memoranda and investment committee materials, including presentation decks Assist in the coordination of integration management of acquired targets Track and report the performance of closed acquisitions Aid with other strategic initiatives as directed by management Create weekly, and monthly standard reports to be circulated to management CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field. 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, with a focus on the energy sector preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-starter / motivator, able to work independently to meet rigorous deadlines Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task Team first mentality; seamlessly integrates into company culture and lean company environment Ability to analyze a broad spectrum of asset classes including oil and gas wells, pipelines, PDP assets, and all other oil and gas-related assets
