Job Summary:
Estate & Inheritor Services is a specialized team within Client that assists with the processing of client accounts during the inheritance process. The Estate & Inheritor Services Specialist will manage the transition of assets for individual clients, serving as a Subject Matter Expert for Client Wealth Management clients, Financial Advisors, Client Service Associates, and Branch Management. This role involves facilitating inheritance and legacy transfers, working closely with branches and other internal departments, and providing support through various internal applications in a virtual branch environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide dedicated one-on-one support for clients throughout the inheritance process, utilizing effective relationship management skills.
Communicate proactively with clients via phone and email to ensure high levels of service, transparency, and empathy.
Process and follow up on client service requests to ensure timely completion.
Set appropriate expectations with clients and beneficiaries in alignment with internal Service Level Agreements, ensuring consistent follow-up.
Deliver world-class customer service to both internal and external clients in all interactions.
Research and resolve issues with clients accurately and in a timely manner.
Utilize Client systems to ensure all case interactions are documented appropriately.
Actively manage, monitor, and document daily case loads using various technology resources.
Apply Firm verification policies for all clients to prevent identity theft and fraudulent activity.
Stay updated on SEC/FINRA, Compliance, and Firm guidelines to ensure risk mitigation.
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
College degree preferred.
3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry, including client service interactions, and knowledge of estates, trusts, and retirement plans, as well as account opening and asset distribution processes.
Knowledge/Skills:
Basic clerical and administrative skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and client service skills.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent follow-up abilities.
Ability to research and resolve problems and service inquiries, escalating when appropriate.
Capability to handle a high volume of requests in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
Basic knowledge of Client systems and procedures.
Self-motivated with the ability to work in a team-oriented and high-activity environment.
