This position is designed for an attorney who will handle a full range of litigation matters related to trusts, estates, and inheritances for high-net-worth individuals, families, charities, and corporate trustees across California.Duties:Manage a diverse array of trust, estate, and inheritance litigation cases, including will contests, accounting disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and elder abuse cases.Conduct comprehensive initial case reviews and develop strategic plans for litigation.Liaise with clients, counsel, and team members to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Draft legal correspondence, and prepare for hearings, trials, and mediations.Handle contentious trust administration and non-probate litigation related to the assets of clients.Contribute to the firm’s visibility and growth through business development initiatives, including writing articles, attending events, and building networks with private wealth contacts.Requirements:Admission to the California Bar and in good standing.2 to 4 years of relevant litigation experience, including legal research, drafting, and discovery processes.Preferred experience in probate court and matters involving estate, trust, or wealth planning.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Skills:Strong research, drafting, and analytical abilities.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Effective oral and written communication skills.Ability to work collaboratively within a team and demonstrate commitment to client service.Capacity to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and handle urgent matters, including evening or weekend work as needed.Proficient in building relationships with clients and participating in case strategy development.Flexibility to work in the office as needed while maintaining effective remote collaboration.Company info:
