Case Management :
Collaborate with partners and paralegals to manage files through the probate, trust, guardianship, and conservatorship processes.
Court Appearances :
Attend non-litigation court proceedings related to probate, trust, guardianship, and conservatorship cases.
Documentation :
Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings and correspondence.
Legal Research :
Conduct in-depth legal research to support case preparation and advisement.
Requirements
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in California.Up to 3 years of legal practice experience (recent law graduates with post-bar clerkship experience will also be considered).Prior experience in estate planning, trust, or probate law is preferred.Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Exceptional research and analytical abilities.Proficiency in multitasking, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines.Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a recognized institution.Certifications
Active California State Bar License (required).Skills
Knowledge of estate planning, trust, and probate law.Proficient in drafting legal documents.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Familiarity with legal research tools (such as LexisNexis, CEB) and case management software (preferred).Competency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat (preferred).Location
