We are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our associate attorney team. The ideal candidate must have a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school and be licensed to practice law in the state of California. Ultimately, we are looking for a candidate to join our collaborative working environment, who is enthusiastic about developing their legal expertise and contributing to the continued success of our firm.Qualifications:0 – 3 years of experience practicing law (post bar clerk will also be considered)Proficient in drafting legal documentsExperience in estate planning, trust, and/or probate law preferredDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environmentExcellent research and analytical skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlinesStrong verbal and written communication skillsProficient with legal research tools (e.g. LexisNexis, CEB) and case management software preferredProficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat preferredResponsibilities:Work closely with partners and paralegals to effectively move files through probate, trust, guardianship, and conservatorship administration processNon-litigation court appearances related to probate, trust, guardianship, and conservatorship mattersDraft pleadings and correspondenceConduct legal researchBenefits of Working at BJJ:
