BSA provides 24-hour paramedic care through our ambulance service, which responds to emergencies in Canyon and 825 square miles of Randall County. BSA EMS staffs two stations 24/7/365, one in northern Randall County and one in Canyon.We believe healthcare is a team sport and every player has something to contribute to. This position reports directly to the UT Health EMS Clinical Director.The Clinical Manager must be able to perform the functions in filed patient care for BSA Health System as a Paramedic.This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day clinical oversight of Baptist St. Anthony's Health System's Ambulance Service, in addition to the core role of clinical oversight.The Clinical Manager will assist the BSA EMS Director of Operations in hiring, promoting, suspending, discipline and termination of employees; attend meetings as required or requested; ensure compliance with regulatory agencies.Responsible for the protection of Baptist St. Anthony's assets including buildings, equipment, supplies and vehicles.Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School diploma or GED equivalentCertification or licensure as an EMT-Paramedic by the Texas Department of State Health ServicesValid minimum Class C Texas Driver License with restriction "A" permissibleBasic Life Support (BLS) InstructorAdvanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) InstructorPediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) InstructorPre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) InstructorCertification as an EMS Instructor by the Texas Department of State Health ServicesCompletion of the following Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency National Incident Management System (NIMS) courses: IS-100, IS-200, IS-700, IS-800.A is required within 80 days of employmentAdvanced Medical Life Support (AMLS) completionNeonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) completionPreferred Job Requirements:
Three years supervisory experienceAssociate's degreeFive years of experience as a Paramedic
