About the Role
As a Commercial Business Development Manager, you'll drive business growth by identifying prospects, building lasting client relationships, and promoting our client's restoration services to businesses across the region. You'll also work closely with restoration teams to ensure a seamless client experience from initial contact through project completion.Key Responsibilities
New Client Acquisition : Identify, pursue, and secure new business relationships within the commercial sector through networking, referrals, and cold calling.Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and insurance professionals to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.Sales Growth : Actively promote the company's comprehensive restoration services to commercial clients to meet and exceed revenue targets.Market Strategy : Analyze the market to identify potential clients and new business opportunities, tailoring strategies to achieve growth goals.Negotiation & Contracting : Lead contract negotiations, ensuring profitable agreements and successful project handoffs.Brand Representation : Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and community functions to build brand awareness.Collaboration & Coordination : Work closely with the Director of Sales and Marketing and project teams to ensure smooth project transitions and high-quality service delivery.Additional ResponsibilitiesMarketing & CRM Management : Utilize CRM tools to track sales activity, manage email campaigns, and assist with marketing initiatives.Event Planning & Community Engagement : Support the organization of community events, charity initiatives, and industry education sessions.Professional Development : Attend training courses and industry conferences and participate in ongoing skill development initiatives.Internal Collaboration : Work in sync with internal teams and leadership, attending regular check-ins with the Sales Director.What You Bring to the TeamIndustry Experience : Proven expertise in commercial sector sales, particularly in restoration or construction.Sales & Negotiation Skills : Demonstrated ability to close B2B sales with a strategic approach to client relationships.Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with diverse stakeholders and maintain strong client relationships.Organizational Skills : Ability to juggle multiple projects, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively.Tech Savvy : Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software, able to quickly learn new tools.Preferred QualificationsExperience
in restoration, construction, or a related field, even if you have experience selling services into healthcare facilities, education (k-12), and higher education, property managers would be highly considered.Education
